RSI is a Great Training Option for Everyone

Learn more about how we can prepare you to advance your career.

Refrigeration School, Inc (RSI) takes pride in its training and the depth of education we provide. At RSI you don’t just learn one aspect of HVAC/R, you learn how to install and maintain HVAC/R equipment in a variety of settings. Additionally RSI is now teaching photovoltaic (PV) principles in their Phoenix, Arizona, school.

Range of Courses Available at RSI in Phoenix

Photovoltaic (PV) Sciences and Solar Panel Installation

RSI has kept pace with the increasing use of photovoltaic (PV) equipment, more popularly known as solar panels. PV systems can help power HVAC systems, therefore RSI trains its students in the installation of solar panels and the integration of the DC current generated by the PV equipment.

Electrical Technologies

A qualified HVAC/R technician needs knowledge of electro-mechanical technologies in order to deal with the electrical systems that operate inside and outside of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. To help prepare technicians for this, students learn and apply basic electrical principles to complex situations such as HVAC/R voltage circuits, wiring panels, and feeder circuits for commercial as well as residential applications.

Heating, Ventilation,  Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technologies

Since its founding 45 years ago, RSI has successfully trained qualified technicians to work on HVAC/R systems. This six to ten month program covers basic electrical and refrigeration principles, building schematics for HVAC/R systems, and much more. RSI students work on many different types of refrigeration equipment in a wide range of service, repair, and trouble-shooting applications using RSI’s special in-house E-STAR Trainer.

Psychrometrics and Psychrometry

Psychrometrics deals with airflow and the properties of gas-vapor mixes. The ability to install systems with the proper air flow is important for energy efficiency and people’s comfort. RSI students are schooled in the science of airflow and able to install or revamp HVAC systems to be as energy efficient and comfortable as possible.
